Our Layers

 

Our laying flock currently has Barred Rocks and Rhode Island Reds. These ladies produce brown eggs with beautiful yellow yolks.

​

All of our chicks start out in the chicken house in stock-tank brooders. As they grow, the chicks move to large brooder pens with lots of room to run around. As soon as they get their big-girl feathers, the chickens move next door to the coop. Our layers move freely in and out of the coop during the day.

These ladies spend their days in chemical-free pastures and are fed non-GMO and non-medicated feed.

Ordering Process and Pricing

​​

• Eggs are available for pick up at the farm on a first-come, first-served basis.
   

• Brown and blue eggs are sold by the dozen (ungraded and mixed sizes).
   

• All eggs are washed prior to being put in cartons, so please keep them refrigerated.
   

• Eggs are $5.00 per dozen.
   

• Clean, empty egg cartons are always welcome!
